Chief's Message

Letter from the Chief,

On behalf of the men and women of the Aubrey Police Department, welcome to our website and thank you for your interest in our communities and our Department.  We, at Aubrey PD, are committed to providing excellent police services to Aubrey and our community partners of the Town of Providence Village, Aspen Meadows, Sandbrock Ranch, and Silverado.  These communities and our Department are actively involved in a cooperative partnership to ensure our citizens feel safe and order maintenance issues are quickly addressed.

I am very impressed that our communities have fully embraced the crime prevention tool of “See Something?  Say something."  Aubrey PD needs our citizen partners engaged as eyes and ears for our Police staff.   There are so many examples of this powerful tool saving lives, diminishing crime, and protecting our citizen’s property.   We at APD will never be “too busy” or have “something more important to be doing” than providing our residents with the comfort of safety.  Please do not hesitate to call us, we would rather come out to your issue and not be needed, than you not call us and need us.  We believe that engaging our community and developing relationships is critical to our combined success.

As we continue to experience growth in our surrounding area, we will work with our partners to ensure that we continue to have the trust and support of our citizens.  It is imperative that we continue to have an open dialog with our citizens, and we encourage you to contact us at any time to encourage our officers, report your concerns or provide information that you think would assist us in our mission.

I am honored to have been selected to lead this Department and join a team of individuals dedicated to providing excellent service to our community.  We invite you to learn more about your Department and its services and take advantage of the many opportunities to communicate and stay informed.

In your service,

Richard Brooks
 Aubrey Police Department
 Chief of Police
